Economic Issues of Eastern Europe
Eastern Europe has been and is experiencing economic issues as a result of the fall of communism in the region in 1989. For example, half of the countries in this region have had negative GDP growth, and others have low economic growth rates. Countries such as Bulgaria are also suffering from massive depopulation, leaving the region with a smaller workforce and a worse economy. However, the region is recovering and is slowing getting back to a having a better economy.
